Lactation Consultant IBCLC, Prenatal & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher

Kavisa Cyprian Wood

I provide compassionate and personalized lactation support tailored to each family's specific needs and goals. My evidence-based practices focus on the physical and emotional well-being of both parent and child. Let's work together to create a lactation plan that nourishes both you and your baby.

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 700 hours of training including a clinical externship at UC Davis Medical Hospital and UC San Diego’s lactation education program. I also have specialized training in bottle refusal, tethered oral ties (tongue/lip ties), and oral habilitation (IBCLC Master Class). My work is centered around nourishing community wellness through yoga, lactation support, and health equity work.

"Kavisa is a helpful, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable lactation consultant. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone who might be looking for an IBCLC. She helped me to understand what was going on with my fussy baby and instructed on what positions would be best for our specific issues and his needs. She also gave advice on pumping and what size flange to use."
